Nice retrospective about the movies of Jack Hill, well known for Coffy and Foxy Brown. It's completed with interviews and how much do these movies hold up. There are also unexpected Doctor Who connections. Not every exploitation movie fans will love this (only open-minded ones will). |

History-heavy, which is awesome to me, since to KNOW art history, you have to know the history part. It goes hard on the social-economics and politics of the era. However, there a few minor mistakes (the pauper's bible myth is treated as fact ugh) and I have a personal vendetta agaisnt Boticelli. Overall, recommended. |
