Books I'm Reading RN

Sapiens. A Brief History of Humankind Yuval Noah Harari DROPPED not appliable; didn't vibe
Jack Hill. The Exploitation and Blaxploitation Master, Film by Film Calum Waddell FINISHED (06/12/2022) Nice retrospective about the movies of Jack Hill, well known for Coffy and Foxy Brown. It's completed with interviews and how much do these movies hold up. There are also unexpected Doctor Who connections. Not every exploitation movie fans will love this (only open-minded ones will).
Young Leonardo. The Evolution of a Revolutionary Artist. 1472-1499 Jean Pierre Isbouts and Christopher Heath Brown FINISHED (??/10/2022) History-heavy, which is awesome to me, since to KNOW art history, you have to know the history part. It goes hard on the social-economics and politics of the era. However, there a few minor mistakes (the pauper's bible myth is treated as fact ugh) and I have a personal vendetta agaisnt Boticelli. Overall, recommended.
